Exl offices not opening anytime soon right ?
I recently interviewed with MITRE for a systems engineering role to make the move from Leidos where I feel underpaid for the work I do and for my experience ($85K). I have 4 YOE, a STEM degree, and soon will have a Masters Degree. I’m looking to make around $120K in the new role at Mitre. Does anyone have any insight into comp there? This would be in the DC metro area. Does $120K seem reasonable or am I dreaming?

And my boss says, these generations are all lazy 😅

Hello Everyone,
I am a fresher with over 9+ months of experience as a Data Engineer at Tata Consultancy .
I just needed some suggestions from you experienced folks.🙏
In my current project my colleagues have over 6+ years of experience and are not very supportive and scold me for unnecessary reasons, which is effecting my mental health.😔
Also I am not getting to learn anything.

We'll be fine
At least for healthcare consulting, when the economy is good we are working on more acquisitions, investments, service line development, and more. When we hit a recession we are doing more mergers, revenue cycle management, strategic planning, and more. Point is there is always a need for consultants. What you should do is watch if your company is properly positioning itself depending on the state of the market. There is always business to be done as long as we are in the places where the needs are.
I honestly would not trust LEK during a recession considering how they handled the initial COVID drawback
Hmm not sure how well this firm will hold up then. Sounds like I might as well jump while I can

Why would you think MBB would be safer? They cut heads during recessions too.
@P1 I think you made LEK4 angy😡
Considering grand theft auto hasn’t released a new version in years and they’re green quarter over quarter I think fine…
If EY is going public or selling assets, EYP may get hit hard as they won’t tolerate a loss during that time

To make the partners rich
We will probably be fine. Initial covid, pe firms shut down. In a recession, do pe firms shut down? ;)
Life sciences consulting will do well. It’s typically not cyclical
I’m in a boutique and our business exploded when covid hit, no question.
would venture to say S& and OW would be "safest" only because of PwC and MMC, though I'm talking more the brand than people. Layoffs will be up across the board I'm sure...
