Applied intelligence is one of the strongest groups in the company + you will leave with very valuable skills
Deloitte C to ACN C is anyday one jump. For Applied Intelligence, I'd see it as 2 jumps.
Its a very solid, strategically placed group that has global presence. Earlier it used to fall under "Digital" umbrella and now its under S&C. The work is interesting coz you do premium technology- cloud, data science, large scale BI/SI strategy and yet have a consulting mindset to it. Best of both worlds to speak. Comp wise they are premium than ACN technology and little less than ACN Strategy.
I have moved to UK so won't have the latest figures but the numbers have undergone revision recently and C are paid in range of 18-30L fixed with 15-20% bonus. Retention bonuses and amazon vouchers are very common as well.
One of the strongest groups in Accenture. A lot of genius folks in this group. You will be exposed to a lot of interesting projects and work with many major companies. A ton of cool projects. Accenture data science team is always viewed as one of the strongest among any companies.
It’s a solid group with good leadership, at least on the west coast. Whether it’s worth a lateral depends on $
Let me clarify the confusion.
Usual hierarchy in S&C Applied Intelligence - Client & Market track(US) is:
A, SA, C, M, SM, MD
In India/some EU markets, C&M goes like:
A, C, M, SM, MD
In India, there is a new additional track - "Client Delivery &Ops" in S&C AI that goes:
A, SA, C, AM, M, SM, AD, MD

We are investing heavily in this area. We are actually turning down sole source deals and delaying others due to lack of bench. I'm only focusing on selling interesting projects now. I suspect 2-3 years from now things will be different for all of us.
We also have some very interesting initiatives we are in early stages if developing.
Despite that, we are a large company so I'm sure there will be some things that you don't like.
The group sells work/projects frequently that have nothing to do with automation so be cautious as you may not actually get to do that type of work.
Lots of very technical folks, far fewer folks who can bridge the gap between the business and technology (which is imperative for this space).

OP, sorry, I don't know the ranges are in DMV.
Also curious
Sounds like an extremely interesting group. I currently work in a boutique firm doing similar work and am thinking of making a switch. Any thoughts on work life balance compared to other groups within ACN?

Better WLB than Strategy, not as good as an implementation.
how long was your interview process? Did they respond quickly?
