JPMorgan Chase recently introduced a policy change to increase the notice period to 60 days. I'm a 602 and resigned recently and yet my LWD is showing up as 30 days from now. Anyone recently resigned can confirm if they are facing the same or new policy is in effect. This is causing confusion with the next companies I'm interviewing with.
Notice period during 6 months of probation?

You could if you believe you could be paid in your job and area better. Ideally first get an offer or two and then you can always try to leverage them. Possibly you can stay for a raise or leave into the new opportunity
It depends on what’s important to you. If further career progression is important it is worth a serious look to consider moving. First though, have you thought about the kind of roles and organizations you would like to move to? For example, your experience is transferable but how would you explain in an interview that building homes is similar to say complex manufacturing sites? You want to identify what you want to go towards before jumping off as I will say, you may not find it that easy to replace that level of compensation out of the gate. At least if you know what kind of, or even specifically the organization you are targeting you can do your research on culture, growth, pay, etc.
Secondly, nobody says you need to always be going for that next role. If you like your job, like your colleagues and clients, and are good with you compensation then there is nothing wrong with staying where you are. You may be able to negotiate some individual ‘success bonuses’ linked to key milestones, delivery, or outcomes if money is the consideration.
Good luck!
