McKinsey & Company Does level and/or office matter for referrals at McKinsey & Company? A friend is willing to refer at the Associate level in my target office though I did not get any traction w/ the referral last year. I'm a Veteran so I also recognize there may be a resume translation issue despite the prior version getting me interviews with BCG and Bain. I have updated the resume since - though still wondering if there's anything else I can do to strengthen my case. Thank you in advance for any advice.

Unsure if this is a real question.. 340k usd vs 300kcad dude you will be making way more money and in a warmer place... At 340k a year it doesn't matter how expensive the cities are anymore as long as you take good care of your money you will be good... If you don't want it please give them my resume
Regardless send me your resume 😀
It’s a good time to join when stock price is low…
Is $340 the final number? I definitely think you could get more if you're getting $300 In Canada
I can’t believe someone earning this much hadn’t realized yet that taxes everywhere are marginal
300CAD is 217USD so a jump of 123k sounds pretty good to me. Where in Canada? Vancouver ain’t cheap either…also prices in seattle are better than they were 3 years ago. Only gonna get worse.
I am in Toronto suburb. 50KM out.
Seattle is expensive but warmer compared to Canada and, it is a good number. Go for it if you like the role. May I know what is your role and band at IBM Canada?
👏 you must be really playing top of the game.
Go for it. Just don't live in Seattle. Rent is too damn high not that it ever was low a decade ago.
I’d definitely take that role. It’s a substantial increase when factoring in the the value of CAD vs USD.
I was thinking the same. The dollar exchange factor alone is more than $40k DAD increase
I don't know how they can pay you that much and still asked this question it doesn't make sense

Total comp
