Does anyone else struggle with taking detailed notes during meetings and have tips for improving? One of the partners I work for demands that the most junior associate take detailed notes and circulate them after every call, but I have a hard time comprehending the call if I am taking notes because I’m focused on typing quickly. And my notes can be spotty when I get behind typing or get distracted.

I am mainly working with shops in the States as a non-native speaker and I am constantly worried about my ability to communicate (in any professional occasion but mostly in meetings). I am working with some of the best shops and this makes the situation worse considering that I am largely surrounded by an extremely competent group of folks that are super good at any form of communication. How do you feel as a native speaker when you meet non-natives? Should they be worried, or, they doing ok?

I am a registered sales assistant which means I have my series 7. I also have the 63 and my Life & Health license. I was a financial advisor but the role is commission only so I decided to take a role as an assistant for some time to learn etc. I really like my role, but I only make 32k a year and after taxes I only take home about 25k. I’ve been out of college for 5 years and all of my work experience till now has been in R&D for start ups and small businesses . So not only is this a new experience for me going into such a large company but also a industry (semiconductors). Is it true that less than 20% of engineers are women, even when there are so many programs specifically focused on getting females into STEM fields? It seems like it should be more evenly distributed

I currently working as project coordinator (on-site) for 3 months 10hrs everyday with package $75k, I want to move to remote or hybrid work but I only have 8 months of experience from my previous employer and I have completed my master's in construction management in 2021.
