You will probably be awesome at something that isnt practicing law. Take it as an opportunity to live a life more aligned with your gifts

People turn their lives around after all sorts of events — death of loved ones, sickness, alcoholism, drug addiction, homelessness, loss of a job. This is not the end

Living with your parents doesn’t mean you’re a failure. You’re a qualified attorney, you’re doing something right. Even if you do have to live with them, everything is temporary. The one constant is change.

Read someone the other day commenting that they were fired from two firms before finding their third and it was a perfect fit and they were now an equity partner or something.

Point is, I don’t have enough info to tell you yes or no. Just that you have to decide if (1) law is really what you want to do and (2) if there is an area of law and firm that works for you

Really trying not to spiral, and my practice group leader has been openly hostile to and dismissive of me lately. I haven’t mentioned my depression/anxiety to him because we’re not exactly getting along swimmingly, but I don’t know who else to talk to about my MH. Fighting with my wife hasn’t helped either. Really not sure how to handle it aside from counseling but that isn’t getting me anywhere fast. Thoughts?

I am getting ready to send my 2 year old toddler to a toddler program next week for the first time. Have to fill out a form “bathroom waiver”, which is basically allowing teachers at the school to clean my child after a potty, including genital area. I feel uneasy about this but I know I have to let them… I assume all parents have signed such waiver?

Can I export a list with all emails I sent for the month? I would like to use it to compare to my billed time to make sure I don’t miss anything. Usually I go through my sent inbox but it has so much extra info so it’s not a quick scan.
