I am working in a company, which is famous for its hire and fire work culture.
So heres how things work -
2.5 yrs bond
1.5 lac bond breakage
40 hr/week shift only on paper
First 6 months 8k stipend
Fires 80% after 6 months.
States 5ctc of which we only recieve 29k pm

Heres where things get interesting.

When the hire people, they make us sign a legal document with 15+ pages on all four sides - top, bottom, left and right of page content.

1. Smaller firm about to be acquired by a larger one, Product Marketing role (title would be Sr. PMM)
2. FAANG, Sales Account Manager role (similar to my current role)

I owned a business for 6 yrs and had a B2C sales role for 3 yrs after (not SaaS). I’ve now been a B2B2C Key Account Manager at a Fitness Tech scale up for 6 mos and would like to be making more $ so am considering applying to other B2B SaaS companies. We have sales people in Canada and the US, the Canadians make 150K CAD and down here it’s 150K USD, the Canadians argue they should be making 30% more than the US colleagues to be equal bc of the exchange! I explain the salary is dependent on the market data for them in Canada, WHERE THEY LIVE, and you can’t compare it to the US employees and the market data down here. Overall they are both in the 75th% for total comp. for their industry. Am I wrong?
