1st yr at a nyc v50 firm doing general transactional work. I know the lateral market for transactional lawyers is hot but not as hot for juniors. I just want a change of scenery because my current firm is bleeding good associates / not giving great training imo / and just seems small. Would lateralling this early feasible? HR is scheduling the interviews without checking time with me. One interview was scheduled and then it was rescheduled to a different time at last minute. I wasn't available at that time so I mailed the HR for a different slot. They again scheduled it for a later date without checking the time with me.

I had two technical rounds in tcs last month and now I have got the offer letter from tcs.

But I found one thing unusual that I did not have any salary negotiation call neither any hr round.

They released offer letter directly on ibegin portal with 60% hike on my current ctc .

Should I consider this as a fake recruitement.

An in-house recruiter from Publicis reached out two months ago asking for my avails to chat. I responded within a few hours and it’s been crickets...

Email response from a resume submission requesting times to chat and that she's " really looking forward to speaking with me." Three email replies later - crickets. I'm so tired of this shit...

The recruiter for freelance at Havas is the worst. She’ll email and ask for my availability then ghost. Also brought me in for an interview & didn’t even tell them I freelanced there before.

Lucky Generals. I was ghosted after an in person coffee interview and promises of setting up a meeting with the other founders. Just found out another pal of mine had the same experience with them!

Ghosting after on-site interviews is despicable. Recruiting has been a part of my job for years in addition to resourcing & project management, and I would always manage to reply emails.

Flew from London to the US for a two day interview marathon. Had one call with HR two weeks later where I was told they were gathering feedback and would get back to me asap. Never heard back. (contd)

Gmails “nudge” feature does a real good job in reminding who’s ghosting me at the moment.

Anyone else get ghosted by more than one recruiter at the same agency? Thought I would have better luck when the first recruiter who was notorious for ghosting left but the new one ghosted me too...
