I guess my point is: Isn't all undergrad is a place to learn to think? There are a couple majors that line up with a career, like accountants, but consulting isn't one of them. Conversely, my college roommate who was a history major is now the chief accountant for a huge company, probably because all his BA in accounting colleagues couldn't think or write very well.
Engineering majors are the golden ticket. You can do pretty much anything if you're also personable
I like tacos. That is all
The "conquer the world" part made me laugh. I've met several new grads that won't settle for any roles unless they're leading a Strategy project for a client. Lofty aspiration but client execs would never put their company strategy in the hands of new grad with no experience.
Finger-banging 101 was my favorite class
this made me giggle
OP 🙄
Then I can finally tell you what I think - stop spewing that racist and ignorant crap you're getting from the tv. You used to be an independent and great thinker. Be a better man again.
But I only watch FOX News. 😂
LOUD... NOISES...
Music major here. Consultant by day, jazz saxophonist by night; No complaints!
That's so funny that some are downing certain majors..... We are all doing the same shit here, consulting! Social work major here. Offers from Accenture and Deloitte.
Someone told me "to solution." I have given up.

I will say that economics as an undergrad gave me a leg up. I use incentive theories nearly every week.
If they taught me how to more effectively "leverage" others work, the degree would have been perfect.
Finance, accounting, engineering. That's about it
I miss lesbian dance theory
When I first started out, I was told to tone down my writing, @EY3... It was described as "too fluffy"... Like jargon isn't? LOL
