I won’t guarantee that Booz won’t do the same thing to you or that we can match that comp, but I do know we have plenty of CM projects and we’re definitely hiring. Take a look at the web site and if there’s anything that interests you, DM me and I’m happy to do a referral for you!

Thank you so much BAH1. I’ll talke a look today and follow up if there’s a role I’m interested in. Much appreciated

It happened to me OP a couple of years ago and I decided to leave. Looking back I’m glad I stuck to my principles, but it was a bad move financially and career wise.

Thanks for your perspective

This is Prasanna Kumar from India. I hope you are doing well :)
Myself and my wife are working in Infosys. She has got a project in Canada. She has raised a dependent Visa for me also in Canada.
If we go there, she will have a work assignment. But I won't have any work assignments in Canada.
My Canada Visa is already in progress. I am looking out for opportunities for Windchill in Canada.
If you can be able to help me with this, It would be a great help for us
Thanks

We have sales people in Canada and the US, the Canadians make 150K CAD and down here it’s 150K USD, the Canadians argue they should be making 30% more than the US colleagues to be equal bc of the exchange! I explain the salary is dependent on the market data for them in Canada, WHERE THEY LIVE, and you can’t compare it to the US employees and the market data down here. Overall they are both in the 75th% for total comp. for their industry. Am I wrong?

What is considered a “large” caseload in employment litigation? I work at a large L&E boutique law firm and handling about 14-15 active litigation cases in state/federal court or arbitration. Some of these matters are multi-plaintiff and multi-defendant cases, but none are class actions. This does not include any matters I am handling in the charge stage or in pre-litigation. Not sure if that’s a typical caseload or not?

What is the obsession and appeal for MBB among MBA grads? Is it really that amazing - from afar it seems like it may be romanticized (maybe not the right word) among applicants. I know it’s way better than the work I do now, so I’m not knocking MBB at all. It’s super impressive. Maybe a better way to phrase it is that MBA applicants seem to have a fairy tale view of consulting as a whole. I get the impression that people think a job in consulting is a magic ticket anywhere
