eShakti.com - tons of styles, very customizable, reasonable.
cosign on eShakti. really great dresses with pockets where one can customize the sleeve and dress length among other things
Small local boutiques. I prefer to try on clothes rather than ordering online. And I’m supporting local business.
My go to is Talbots/J McLaughlin/Ann Taylor. Classic never goes out of style.
EY2 - you're so right. There are a few local ones I like for work as well - I wish there were more local stores near me that stock larger sizes. My current fav is Trelise Cooper, they even have a Co-OP Collective to shop from. www.trelisecooper.com
Ann Taylor, Banana Republic, Theory, Talbots, Brooks Brothers, Loft (for business casual). I don’t care too much about being creative at work...I’m more concerned with fit, quality of construction, fabric, and go-anywhere classics. I’m also little, and even petites tend to be too long in the legs & sleeves, so free tailoring (Banana!) or esse of tailoring is important too.
SM1 - Thank you for sharing. I'd never heard of this place, and they ship international! I might need to order a few things before our new law on GST on overseas purchases kicks in on 1 Dec!

I'm plus size, so my options are limited, but have had good luck with Macy's online.
