OP: i feel behind in life since I make 65K. how much did you make?
Person: I made 50K
OP: oh great, so I'm at least in front of you. Self-esteem repaired.
Bruh, you feel behind? With this post, all you're doing is looking for someone else to stand in front of. Find some worth within yourself. Only compete with your future self and your needs. Make money to fund the lifestyle you want, not to compare to others
This post is gold!!!
I was making around 20 at that age. Unbelievable
Like $10/hr... LOL
Change your mindset, OP.
Same. $10.90 p/h.
Basically nothing, 29 and next year goes to 300+ US so keep truckin
$0 unemployed
At 23, I made 45K plus tips as a restaurant server with no holidays or stock benefits.
At 28, I made 55K plus stock and comp packages, still on the lower spectrum but get 13 paid holidays and 2 weeks of recharge days so that levels out for side hustles and other things to enjoy life

I started in 57K in Chicago as a staff in tax. I also got a 5K bonus so my total gross was 62K. Note that this was about a decade ago.
14k a year - but this was 30 years ago. Not sure how I ever survived on that, but I loved my job.
At 23 I was paycheck to paycheck and had credit card debt. I was making $55k. This was 2014. You’re not behind. Focus on where you want to be and work hard to get there.
About $12/hr
Only a half annually of what you are earning mate , so I’d say that’s a decent number
Comparison is the thief of joy. You’ll always feel behind, and you’ll never feel like you have enough unless you start being grateful for all the blessings you have. I made 51k at 23 (Big 4 Public Accounting) inflation unadjusted and worked shit hours. Work-life balance and enjoying what you do atleast somewhat (as a primary source of fulfillment work is a trap) is most important
At 23, I was making maybe $35K.... At 31 I'm making $68K so consider yourself lucky
At 23 I was making $27k.
At 25, I’m making $80k.
Money isn’t everything. It’s about experience and growth and finding out who you are and what you want.
You're way ahead kid. 65k at 23 years old is outperforming the average by a lot. Stop comparing yourself to other twenty year olds making 6 figures and focus on career growth.
I literally made 60k when I started in audit in 2019 at 23 years old. Making close to ~200k TC in about 3 years. Take it easy, your time will come OP.
At 23 I was making ~$30k since I had like 3 jobs for a hot minute 🙃
At 23 I was making $12/hr as a help desk analyst.
I’m 33 now making $175k
62k at 23, now at 29 I make 170, you’re fine kid
At 23 I was making $65k. That was 15 years ago.

$50k back in 2015.
It was my first job in public after toiling around in this industry for a couple years after getting my bachelors degree.
I made $10/ hour at 23
22k. I’m 30 now and still only getting 26k, including bonus. Wanna swap?
