OP: i feel behind in life since I make 65K. how much did you make?
Person: I made 50K
OP: oh great, so I'm at least in front of you. Self-esteem repaired.
Bruh, you feel behind? With this post, all you're doing is looking for someone else to stand in front of. Find some worth within yourself. Only compete with your future self and your needs. Make money to fund the lifestyle you want, not to compare to others
This post is gold!!!
I was making around 20 at that age. Unbelievable
Like $10/hr... LOL
Change your mindset, OP.
Same. $10.90 p/h.
I'm 23 also made 96k this year I feel like everyone has thier own time period thiers plenty people younger and older that make less or more
You shouldn't look at what others are doing
Please be patient with yourself! All individuals have individual goals that align with their personal preferences. Look at it from this perspective, there are people on the exterior that probably wish they could be in your shoes. As a 22 year-old, I make $50k per year as a H.R. professional and am a working progress. I am appreciative of my status however my goals are much larger and higher than $50k annually. Please remember, it is not where you started but where you finish!!
Hope this finds you well!
Sincerely,
Your fellow Gen- Z
I was in college still so $0. After graduating I was making $50k. I’m 29 making $120k.
At 23, I just finished my Master’s and we were at the height of the 2010 recession. Took an internship at Disney making $7.52 an hour selling tickets at the parks. Didn’t make $65k until I was 28. 35 now, Sr. FP&A Manager making $205k. You’ll get there…
40k. I wouldn't complain if I were you

$10/hr as a research assistant and barista. 10 years later I make $160k. Invest in yourself and push through. It gets easier.
