OP: i feel behind in life since I make 65K. how much did you make?
Person: I made 50K
OP: oh great, so I'm at least in front of you. Self-esteem repaired.
Bruh, you feel behind? With this post, all you're doing is looking for someone else to stand in front of. Find some worth within yourself. Only compete with your future self and your needs. Make money to fund the lifestyle you want, not to compare to others
This post is gold!!!
I was making around 20 at that age. Unbelievable
Like $10/hr... LOL
Change your mindset, OP.

I got a raise from $57k to $60k at 23 (2021). Right before I turned 24, I got another raise to 83k and another to 90k at 24. You’re doing fine.
A hell of a lot less than that.
33k. No bonus. OP you are fine!
I was making 18k. So you win, OP
I was in college working a receptionist job part time for $11/hr so around $15k a year.. Didn’t hit $65k until I was 30 (finished school at 26). I could have only dreamed of making $65k at 23.
Was 23 last year TC was 92. Now 24 switched jobs making 130. Shouldn’t compare yourself to others, but there is always room to move up if you are willing to put in the work.
It was around the same like 64k and continued till 27 with same salary. We all have our own pace and you are doing great!
I’m making $80k and I know that within my firm, given my level and YOE, is on the upper end. $65k is what I started at about a year and a half ago. You doing great, OP, and you can only go up!
Do you have debt?
52,500 then got a raise to 55,000. You’re in a good place. Don’t beat yourself up too much.

I made $45k when I was 23. It was the Great Recession and I was just thankful I was employed. Going to grad school at 25 was a great reset for me and put me on a great career trajectory.
800 netto per month and still a student!
