If employees aren't happy, no one is happy. And vice versa. If that's a motto in all companies, especially the Big Four, maybe a lot of people wouldn't be quitting as often

Careless statement definitely but i underatand what they mean. They should have said if my staff are not challeneged enough. Complacency breeds laziness. So you should always try to keep your staff learning new things.

OP overheard someone not knowing the difference between using resources and burning them the fuck out. They'll realize once they start losing staff.
I couldn't believe what I was hearing. As I was walking out of the elevator, I turned back and looked at both of their faces and smiled as I walked out. They make people like these managers /directors and wonder why the turnover rate is so high in certain departments
