I got a job that offers a 300% salary increase with no statutory benefits such as HMO, Gym, Pension and the likes. Would it be a good idea to accept such offer?

Absolutely great what is 300%
The only way I would take that deal if the 300% was guaranteed in an appointment and a independent contract agreement I would I would do the job on a consulting basis and be able to write off with other expenses might be a flip such as HMO, etc.

like

Just curious, how do you counter a FT offer into an independent contract agreement? Would there be commission tied to that?

Depends on what 300% means — meaning what do you make ?

It means a 300% net income increase plus an opportunity to work with a fast-growing tech company. However other generic benefits won't be paid for by the company. Benefits such as HMO and the likes.

Correction, Robert Marchionni I meant to say I would take the assignment as an independent contractor and check with my account as far as sheltering, any of that huge income plus taking deductions as a self-employed person as opposed to a salaried individual who would be responsible for ancillary benefits, thank you

Hi All,

Recently got the opportunity to "grow our ESG/CSR" practice at a small regional consulting firm, due to my recent grad certification in sustainable strategy. Wondering where I should focus us as a services industry for big impact - we have a large product innovation, engineering area, and know in the past we've had a lot of lip service to clients and only recorded ESG for their compliance.

Hoping to make a big difference and include CSR/Sust audits for our client projects! Any tips?
