You work in a sales industry. If people are telling you that you come off as having a bad attitude this early in your career, LISTEN and adjust. It’s almost certainly not made up.
I’m going to be blunt. You need a better attitude. Accountability is arguably the most important trait for any form of growth. Reflect on what you could’ve of done better, whether the other party was justified or not, in any conflict. I know it isn’t easy to admit when you’re wrong, especially when stakes are so high. But that’s when it’s most vital.
I do hope you learn from this.
Yeeeesh. Sounds like you dodged a bullet. They have no chill. But also, be early next time.

Why did OP dodge a bullet? Because a company expects a bare minimum of respect and maturity?
This feels strange, but all you can do now is use it as a learning experience.
Did you ever call to say you’d be late? You must. And more importantly you must strive hard never to be late but good news is you made this mistake a really bad mistake early in your career and I will inform the rest of your career hopefully to pay attention more.
you’ll be fine I screwed up an early job and I had the most amazing career and I made a mess and other mistakes but not that one good luck you’re gonna be fine.
Stop saying 6 days. Since we’ll never know the real story, all I know is either you dodged a bullet being let go or they dodged one by letting you go. Take an honest look at the situation and see what you can do differently next time.

Have you gotten fired or let go in the past? I’m guessing this isn’t your first job.
Your personality is you. Own it and amplify it. People can sense phony acts right away. I’ve worked with some dbags who knew they were cold and came off as icey. They played off of that and made people laugh because if it. Not everyone is a fluttering rainbow butterfly or a greasy salesman. This shouldn’t be the case.
Now the work should have been presented regardless though. Wether it’s reference images or just plain write ups or sketches. You should have shown something. If a team can’t show anything or any kind of work, you both should have been fired. There’s really no excuse not to have anything to show.
It’s okay that you messed up. Everyone has things happen in their careers. Next time you will check your work & gracefully apologize for being late to meetings, and then you’ll be fine!
Sounds like you have a tough lesson to learn from. Take it as a lesson and keep moving forward.
Don't be late to meetings!
Here believe me, I'm not a morning person. If there's nothing urgent some morning... yeah, I'm pretty chill. I might clock in late. But then I'll work late.
There is no excuse to be late to meetings.
Flip around on you - how would you feel if every person you met was late to a meeting you have vested interest in?
It’ll likely feel like your time isn’t being respected.
Being on time is as much a representation of respect you have for your colleagues as it is one’s ability to manage time.
It was virtual and I was 10 minutes or less late. It was just stupid intro meetings too.
How on earth can you be ten minutes late for a virtual meeting? All you have to do is click the link…
How long were you even at the company?
Kinda savage of them. Did they say those were the reasons why?
It’s just how I talk because I’m not emotional.
I actually was let go right before this because my agency didn’t have enough work to justify keeping me on.

Then why would they have hired you six days earlier? This makes no sense b
