Does anyone have experience interviewing with Deloitte Internal Services? I had my final interview a week and a half ago, and received positive feedback throughout. The hiring manager had positive things to say and mentioned they hoped to make a decision by the end of last week. It’s now Friday the week after. The role still shows as “Interviews in Process.” We did discuss potential start dates, but no salary. Any experience with receiving offers for an internal services role? Is this common?
Hi fishes, My interview with Microsoft for SE2 was scheduled and cancelled a day before. Neither I received any email regarding cancellation nor the recruiter informed me. Two days later I got an email saying Microsoft is freezing hiring for certain departments and the recruiter is ghosting me. Will I even get a chance to interview atleast?
I’m interviewing for final round of the entry level area manager position at Amazon. I’m working on multiple stories related to the leadership principles. Can anyone provide me some tips regarding the role?
There are 16 leadership principle and I’m thinking of creating some stories around each but the thing that concerns me is what if the questions they ask are related to the same principle and I might have already used up my stories. Something like that. Can anyone please help? Amazon

It sucks to hear, but, a yes can become a no at any point without explanation. I wouldn’t waste your energy trying to read minds, if you asked for feedback and are still questioning it, chalk it up to the world being unfair and save yourself the turmoil, id move on.
^ bro WHAT is that company. Sounds like a wild place to work.
Keep applying. Never stop looking even if you think something looks like a solid yes. They made a decision and you might have dodged a bullet.
This employer doesn’t know what they want. Don’t waste your time thinking about them.

It’s an employers’ market and not all roles need to be filled immediately. Did you ask for feedback on why you didn’t receive the offer?

On the bright side, they were clearly interested in you long enough to see past the lack of experience to get you that far. They liked you and/or your craft. They thought you had promise.
When I got my rejection the feedback was like there were candidates with more competitive portfolios. It kinda broke my heart. I actually followed up and checked their LinkedIn to see the new joinee and her work was honestly not great, but.....she was way younger. I realized that it's not just portfolio but I am also fighting ageism here.

Never said ageism doesn’t exist. Just saying misogyny does, too.

But hey on the flip side. You started a new job. This is huge.

Shit I posted on the wrong thread above. Ignore. Just let it be.
I was let go during a layoff while the agency was hiring for the same position just different accounts / teams once. They said I could interview for that role if I wanted to. 🤓
do you want this job? if so, have you sent a thank you letter? not literally saying "thank you" but something along the lines of enjoying your conversations and that they are at the top of your list...
