I graduate with masters a in Business Analytics in Dec. I currently work at chase as a Banker and most of the jobs I’d apply for are at JP Morgan and my manager is notified when I apply for a job. I am one of the top two performers in market and being groomed for another position. How do I tell my manager that I’d like to start applying for other jobs? He has been super helpful in my career decisions so far and not sure if this will break trust and make things harder for me.

My anxiety has been at bay after changing my job and just feeling like I HAVE control over my life. But now it's back because I feel like I'm behind in other aspects of my life (I.e dating). I have so many friends getting engaged and I just feel... anxious since I am SO single. I'm 27, and I know I'm at that age where people do but it just sucks. Hi there, I had a question about 401k or Roth IRA. Should I put money into anyone of the two as an international student? I don’t see the point because I want to invest my money instead of saving it. Plus I don’t even have a permanent resident status so I don’t know if it makes sense saving it for retirement. On the other hand, the employer match and so on sounds good. So should I save it and take it out later or just invest it?

My current compensation is 6.5 and manager ia saying that they will promote and increse my salary.

I’m having a hard time understanding the salary /TC ranges for mid- to senior-level strategy positions in the Denver area (10-15 YOE). They seem to vary a lot, and are broadly low vs. other markets (mid $100k-low $200k vs TC closer to $300-$400k+ on the coasts). Any observations? Which companies would you look at for more substantial comp outside consulting?
