I manage 2 physician practices and one is extremely toxic. To the point the dr sides with staff even when I am trying to make corrective actions when patient care is in jeopardy. Yoga folks! I used to do yoga and exercise frequently. Things happened, getting back on the wagon. I'd love to work up to a daily practice even if it's just a few mins - but I do need to incorporate other programming as I've got some covid lbs to lose. I am generally uncomfortable when I’m around my mother-in-law’s husband.

While he is overall a decent guy, his anger issues, yelling at his wife for the slightest issue, and insulting nature makes me uncomfortable and triggers my own anger due to his blatant disrespect for just about everyone around him.

Has anyone switched labs for better lab quality/embryologist experience? Wondering if there is a significant difference between labs. We got poor results at our current clinic and, happens that our clinic is rated lower on SART website. I was lucky enough to have been hired by one of the worlds top consulting firms, worked with a whole lot of big clients and travelled a lot. It's gotten to the point where I am not even asked about the lack of a degree on my resume. Personally though, it bothers me. I have a whole bunch of certifications in my industry…but just no formal degree. (cont'd)

My aunt recently passed away, leaving behind 2 young girls (16 and 12 years old). I’m trying my best to be there for them and pray for them, and have been asking people to pray for them as well. Until I started question what is the point of asking people to pray for them? I know God hears my prayers, so why do we ask people to pray ?

Yet another friend/colleague got engaged this weekend. It’s become impossible to celebrate people’s relationships. I’m a POC woman and I’ve been single since coming to the US 10 yrs ago. A handful of men have been interested but they were not Christian or back in my country. So many childless, single women in my church and I’m terrified I’ll be them soon. My non-Christian family doesn’t understand why I’ll only date Christians, or the dating scene in big cities, so they put pressure on me
