I have some doubt regarding pf contribution... Say for example.. 12% of my base salary is 600 which gets deducted from my salary.. on the flip side.. the company has to contribute 600 to my pf (which is actually deducted from my salary only like already part of CTC)?. So my question again is that.. the company contributes 600 as well? PwC

UBS If I had to move within the company to a different location , how does it work? For example if I move from low cost of living area to high cost of living area does the company re-evaluate the base salary within USA? Or do they come back and mention its your family requirement since your partner is located and you are moving ?Suggestions or experiences any !

I think PWC is a much better brand on your resume. Opens up doors for other big 4 firms down the line. You’ll be fine either way, you have opportunity to evaluate Infosys for a couple months.
I would negotiate the base comp at PEC though, 150 seems a bit low for M. Check other benefits too. And also, what are their policies around the I-140 process?
I’d still go with PWC, it’s a tier above. The work culture and style will be very different and it could be a great learning experience.
PwC easily.
Thanks to everyone for your valuable advice. Finally I have joined PwC.

Dude, congrats!!
But be ready for a cultural shift if you are moving from TCS to PWC !
Sure 👍

Voting PwC as well op for the same reasons as everyone else. Good luck!
Infosys offered 150k base for senior consultant on H1b, wow... This is more than what they offer principal consultants 😂
They are offering this much to local hired. It's for California.
I would go for PwC without batting an eye, provided immigration/visa transfer is handled. Taking risk on visa transfer is not worth.
What is the location where you got 150k for M at PwC? (If you are okay to share)
Atlanta
OP, just DMed you. Thanks.
Just wondering if you ever got a reply …I’m asking for a friend on how he can join client direct from TCS without issues
Join PWC.
$150k at Infosys as senior sounds like it would be top of salary band. $150 as PwC at manager is lower end of band. PwC has much more upside, in my opinion.
I am curious if anyone else was thinking the exact opposite. If you are at the top of a pay-band in a lower grade at Infosys, wouldn't it be logical to expect when the OP is promoted to manager, they will be at the top of that pay-band as well? As juxtaposed against being at the bottom of the pay-band at PWC?
Granted there are other considerations to this choice (culture, growth potential, scope of work, geography...), but if salary is the main driver, and you don't ascribe significant value to the title bump, it seems like Infosys is giving you 'more pay for less work'
If I am reading it right,
Infy 150K California
Pwc 150K Atlanta (think of 2x California)
Join Pwc better brand, smarter people, more money, future career growth
Don’t bother to join an Indian firm.. PWC will be good for you
I assume you want to file for a green card. So go with whoever will get you to your GC.
PWC US generally will have travel involved.. did you check on travel requirements? If it's okay with you then owc is anyday better
They said it's going to be remote.
Infy offered 150k when your base was lower. At this time you have to assume pwc offered you 150k when your base at Infy is 150k. Does it sound like a good deal ? That too with a promotion and increase in responsibilities?
Skill is important not company and of course money after some level.
I am new . Is that 150, 000 USD ×75 INR marke
Yes
Can you share your PWC interview and salary negotiation experience?
No brainer , go PwC mate
OP Asking for a friend are you able to get released from TCS contract? Seems difficult to do and wondering any hints on how to transfer to employee
There is no contract.
