I have a Bachelor’s is Business Management. I have been working in Human Services for 13 years including 5 years in Home Healthcare. I am working on going back to school, but not so sure what to do. The Accelerated Nursing program does not work for me as I cant stop working; I was thinking about getting just an Associate in Nursing (RN), or get my master’s in Health Administration. How common are credit checks for roles in accounting or finance positions? Will high utilization on credit card balances and low credit score be a deal breaker? I have been offered a position at a non-US B4 with a 2 year path to partner. I know one of the partners at the local firm and have the support of the regional service line lead, and am bringing a specialized skill set they are trying to open a new business around. The KPIs seem achievable and I’ll be in charm school to help build support within that timeline. Most of me thinks a 2 year path under these circumstances realistic but my inner skeptic is jaded.
