I have a verbal offer from Bank of America and looking to get some feedback. This is an IT infrastructure role with a significant bump in pay. What is work life balance like? Are people generally pleasant? I've been with Discover for over 10 years so I wanted to make sure this is the right place for me. Worried about WFH.

I know folks in infra. WLB is generally good. Sometime they have to work on weekends for planned releases but the following week generally has less work planned. I like the people I have worked with and never heard anything of concern. I do know that they are expanding teams. So the environment may change with team size. Not sure how competitive is the TC compared to discover. Can you share your location and TC before and after?
What band level?
No idea what band it is. Waiting for offer in writing on Monday.
People are great to work with. The issues is the working from home. The expectation is that you are to be in the office 5 days a week. Some groups may be different within the bank but the push is to get everyone in the office.
Yeah I have a problem with that since the entire team is spread from NYC to LA. Why would I sit alone in a big office by myself? I am not interested in doing that. Manager indicated he won't force it but I don't know what executives will do.
