I have been in retail for 12 years, working my way up to where I am now (store manager). My passion is technology, and I want to eventually get into network security. I don’t have the time or money to get a degree, but I am currently half way through the Google IT Support course on Coursera. Soon, I will have the Google IT cert and will be taking the CompTIA A+. I need advice on applying to entry level positions. Any resume advice or jobs that would keep me above 50k. Thank you!

Why not see about working your way into sales at a tech company and then continue your education on network security?

Can you get into tech/cyber at your current company HQ?

Hello! I’m currently a Administrative assistant now working at a major medical system in Baltimore. I’ve previously worked for 10 years as a medical assistant in a variety of specialties and primary care. Lately, I’ve been feeling a bit stuck as to my next step. Part of me want to go into management, another part is saying go get your RN, and the other is saying go into Social Work. I’m all over the place. Any ideas? And how would I be able to cross over to management?

So I've been working at my company for 8 months now as a business analyst. Both senior consultants on my project are leaving, with no replacements in sight, so the project work is most likely going to fall to me. I am already doing most of the work of a full fledged consultant as defined by the companies description. I'm only getting paid 55k a year which I'm being told by other employees is below industry standard (they take around 70% of my billable rate) and I'm feeling kind of stuck. Advise?
