I have dreams of working on big commercials, MVs and long form content overseas. In a global ad agency (1yr) hoping to transfer to a US office and then apply for production companies there. However I am scared of being boxed as a certain kind of video editor. My mentor said focus on editing long form here and then overseas opportunities will come. Really want to experience working overseas as early as possible though but not sure how long I can last creatively unfilled. Any advice or exp?
