I just got a job offer that I'm excited about, but the salary is about 10% lower than I was hoping for. I don't want to come across as greedy or ungrateful, but I also need to make sure I'm being compensated fairly. Any advice on how to negotiate for a higher salary without putting the offer at risk? VENT: I feel completely demotivated after our new FOW announcement and it gave me whiplash. Has anyone left healthcare and is now really happy? I’m an MSN, RN with 12 years hospital experience. I’m burned out and tired of making crap pay. We asked HR but they didn’t do anything about it. Is this normal? Is this legal? If not, what else can we do about it?
