I just had my first routine mammogram since my baseline, as recommended by my doctor. The imaging center urged me to choose the 3D option, which cost me $50 out of pocket since my insurance only covers the standard one. Now I'm wondering if it was worth it. Are 3D mammograms a true medical advancement over 2D, or just a sales tactic?

I had a hectic last three months working up to 16 hours a day due to my project. During this time I took advantage of convenient food which isn’t always the best.
