Start looking at the 8-9 month mark. Leave at a yr
I started looking at month 4, I was honest about what’s not working (the 11 hour work days) and didn’t have issue with any of my interviewers.
I would say 6 months if you can
I’m currently in my 4th month at a new role. Not enjoying it. Been interviewing for new roles already given I’m not interested in these 12 hour work days. The interviewers will ask why you’re leaving so soon but 1. If they cared THAT much - they wouldn’t even interview you. 2. Just be honest and it’ll help you a ton. Hope this can help. Reach out if needed.
I'd look asap while hiring is still strong. Who knows what the market looks like in 6 months to a year
4-6 months then starting looking make sense. Bonus will be out around Feb. So, I should at least stay till then.
