Hi fishes,
I interviewed with Siemens Energy for SAP ABAP position on 21st Jan. The interview went on for about an hour and in the end, the interviewer asked my expected ctc and wanted assurance if I won't negotiate on Siemens offer with some other company as i am currently serving notice period and join Siemens if provided an offer.
Till now , the HR team has not reached out to me for salary discussions and my LWD is 7th Feb. Can i expect a call or i got rejected ?Siemens

Important update, I have been offered all of the shittiest admin on a massive case for the weekend. I’m in Bankruptcy so please pray that the debtors file like 20 different stupid motions that I can “review” and circulate

This is why the all or nothing bonus system is wild. The difference between like, $75k and $0 provides pretty strong incentive to “find” 17 hours over the course of the last month

Yup. .4 here, .2 there.

Already did 😭 I think I’m going to cross over to the dark side and ask my litigation contacts for doc review (bankruptcy “perk” I guess)

Pro bono? Diversity initiative? Training?

Others have mentioned pro bono which is my go to, but also just brainstorming here, do you have any languishing closing sets you could put together? Organize the DMS for all your matters? Any checklists or punchlists you can take initiative to make or update on all your matters? Also make sure you bill all the possible .1s from this month. Not always worth the hassle but maybe go back through your emails and make sure you accounted for them all. If you get some credit for recruiting or mentorship hours, set up some calls with first years or even law students. If you bus dev credit hit up your friends that work in-house or in banking for dinner/drinks.
Also, try being super blunt with people (especially the staffing coordinator if you have one) - hey I need 17 hours by Monday to hit bonus, so you have anything that could use an extra set of hands?
You can also try reaching out to the partners that have new deals listed on the new business emails and try to get staffed.
Pro bono all the way (if it counts and you haven't already reached the max)

Update?!?
Uhhh what all counts as billables? Can you do trainings, etc? Professional development? Finding hours under the desk?
Write an article for bus dev if it counts. Show “initiative” to those MIA partners.
