Bain & Company Hello Fishes.
What is the average CTC offered for a Research Associate with 1 year of experience in Healthcare consulting?
I'm looking forward for opportunities, hence would be great to know the current CTC trends to effectively negotiate with the employer.
Thanks in advance!

Absolutely. Typically additional vacation is easier to negotiate than base salary.
This is your chance to be ambitious in your negotiations because you literally have nothing to lose. Ask for the moon and if nothing else, you’ll land on a cloud.
Absolutely! I always tell them what I have and then I’m not willing to take a step back.
Honestly if you’re good with your pay and happy where you’re at, I think vacation would be a deal breaker for me
Absolutely. I would also factor benefits cost, etc into the overall offer. Are you truly making more? If you are happy where you’re at, it may be worth it to stay.
Negotiate, especially if they found you it sounds like they really want you.
Yes.
Vacations are so important for sanity. I wouldn’t take it. But as someone else said. I’d ask for the moon and see where it lands.
During the good ol days of Covid my manager who’s wife is in HR said they agreed to ridiculous things like. My starting date needs to be in 2 months bc I’m going to France to visit my family for the summer. Take it or leave it. They needed someone badly enough to accept.
Also let the rest of us know know where you are leaving so we can appt for that job

I would! Always negotiating is a good idea imo
Every company I've worked for that has closed for the last week of the year pays. Why not ask instead of speculating.
