I received a job offer to an Amazon DSP company. The interview went great, everything seemed extremely positive. I completed the entire onboarding process and was only waiting for my background check to come back before starting training. The app said I would receive an email within 10 days with next steps but it's been 3 weeks and I haven't heard anything, the recruiter hasn't answered my calls or responded to my texts and there's no other contact info online. Do I give up or hold out?

I would email recruiter and the people you interviewed with especially second and third rounds. That entire team should be on the interview invites. Same process if you interviewed in person.

If you only made it through the screening interview and it’s been this long, they may have moved on, especially since they aren’t returning your calls or texts.

I would move on. If they decide that they want to hire you, they will contact you. Keep applying and interviewing elsewhere.

Anyone having idea about this?

Did 4 rounds of interviews. Last 2 with 2 partners at EY. Haven’t heard back even after 1 month. One partner even commented “you will be a good addition to the team”. Hiring manager gave EY email after her interview call with me.
Fast forward two weeks, no communication. Recruiting was surprised that I was still chasing for this position, month later. Got to know last week that hiring team was continuing to interview candidates. Should I drop the idea to get hired? EY hasn’t rejected me yet.

Made a career pivot to another agency. During the interview we talked about how it may start as initially a "step backwards" (pay/benefits) but has potential for more long term growth. First day was yesterday. Had no communication about when or where to show up, sat in an empty office for about half an hour before a couple people finally showed. No phone call or email. Sent an email to the founder, no response. I could easily get my old job back if wanted.

What would you do in this situation?
