Hi fishers! I have offer and signed contract with Deloitte UK and my start day is in the beginning of April. I need skilled worker visa, and we haven’t applied yet for that. Screening and onboarding is in progress. Immigration team doesn’t reply since reached me out 1st time. How much time does it usually needed to go through the whole process? How many days take for visa to be approved since application?Deloitte

Young and single living with friends/on your own - £60-90k
Couple older married with kids in nice suburbs or commuter towns - probably a combined HHI £110k+. If you are more dependent on one single income because partner stays home/works PT then probably more like £150k+.
If you want to stick in London with kids as a couple, then I can’t personally see how it can be done without £200k+ coming in.
Young and Single :
£45-65k if flatsharing
£65-£95k if 1BR
Married / Couple:
£80k-£110k if 1BR no kids
£100-£150k if 2BR, 1x kid, both not above £100k threshold for 30 Hours
£180k-£250k if >3BR, 2x kid, no 30 hours
Young and single (21-35yrs?), probably over gbp 80k/90k to be comfortable (if comfort includes renting in a nice zone 1/2 area and going out a couple of times a week (afterwork drinks or dinners/weekend plans), and grocery shopping fairly liberally, all of which you'd like to do without strict budgeting or worry. At this salary level and above, you can finance that life while even saving (dependent on frequency and taste for all areas of comfort mentioned). Emphasis on comfortable and not manageable/liveable
Good estimate! Only thing to add maybe that towards the higher end of 20s, six figures becomes almost essential if a serious property deposit and mortgage salary multiple are factors.
