I started a new job in the last two weeks and I’m curious if second thoughts are common. I think it’s too soon to tell if this is the right fit for me work wise, but it’s not exactly what I’m looking for. I was interviewing for my dream job at my dream company before C-19 made it go silent. I know I’m lucky to have a new opportunity but I’m worried I won’t put my best foot forward because I’m not excited about it. I may just be exhausted from burnout and a quick turn around. Any advice?

After you are stealth laid off, other than job search, what do you do? I assume they won’t give you work and even if they do, you can politely decline? Hi Everyone. I completed my 1 year in EY in October 2022. And in my profile, they have updated it to Senior Analyst now. But that was a progression that happens every year and I have not received the incremented salary.

Now that they are giving increments to everyone, will I receive both progression and increment or my progression will be counted as increment.

I have a friend who was let go a few months into his first job after college (reason: the manager felt like he wasn't grasping the training content to the level that was expected).
