Maybe pretend you’re a person that doesn’t blame societal constructs for 100% of your personal failings.
OP could have said “Maybe pretending I’m confident like Beyoncé or Steve Jobs” without the potshot. It’s like saying “maybe pretending I’m Asian will help with this math test.” Its self limiting thought that OPs race and gender make it impossible to get to that level.

As a confident white male, might I recommend propranolol? I take a small dose (5-10mg) an hour before any high-stakes presso. It really works.
Thanks for the recco! Will look into it

You are not anxious when talking to friends or family correct?
Tap into that. Frame it in your mind as a conversation with “friends.”
The fact that that you run through it multiple times means you are prepared and care about your work.
This should give you the confidence to interact with your clients as team members and “friends”.
Client workdays are filled with unproductive phone calls, Excel spreadsheets, finances and endless waves of bureaucracy.
Creative presentations are likely the best part of their day. The stage us yours, show your passion and leave it all on the line.
We aren't saving lives. There is literally nothing on the line. You won't lose your job is the client doesn't like an idea. The company won't go bankrupt. You're playing with house money. Just do your best.
Do white males usually do better in presentations? I thought it’s more about the persons presentation skills.
I'm the same. It's tough out there man.
It’s rare that anyone is a natural at presenting. In fact, public speaking is the number one thing that people fear. The good news is, it can be learned. There are lots of resources available. Some are online for free, LinkedIn has training sessions that can be accessed. There are also organizations such as The Moth that teach these skills. It’s a mistake to expect that you can do it without practice. And, by the way, drugs are a bad way to prepare for a presentation.

Public speaking is not an art, it’s a skill (your interchangeable use notwithstanding). I think your puritanism is misplaced. OP didn’t suggest she struggles to be eloquent or persuasive — she said she suffers from anxiety. You want her to join the Friars Club, sure, that’s an option; but her racing pulse may never go away. Alternatively, she can address the root of the issue with a prescription she could get tomorrow. PEDs are fair game in this field.
I used to get really nervous about presenting, like I was asking for a favor. Then I realized something- why wouldn’t clients want the work to be good?
They chose the agency and they’ve paid a lot for it. On some level, they want to love what they’re getting.
Yeah, they’ve got their moods. And their agenda and internal politics that we might not be privy to. And obviously, you have to present and romance the work.
But they’re usually not the cynical aholes that all of us in the agency are. This is their world. And if you’re excited about solving their problems, they’ll appreciate it.
On some level.
