I used a referral to apply to some financial analyst roles. I like how recruiters are willing to personally decline you which opens a dialogue on criticism. I was given resources on improving resumes and interview skills. It seems my resume is in good shape according to the recruiter but I can’t seem to land an interview. Is there anything else left besides a referral and a good resume to get through? I feel like being from the east coast applying to west coast roles is a factor

Anyone a manager? I’m recently diagnosed (26F) and I can’t help but beat myself up everytime I fall short of my to do list. Makes me feel like a huge disservice to my team. Does anyone have family members who constantly demand money because they feel like you’re rich now because you’re a lawyer? I’ve always wanted to be in a position to help my family but we all live in the high COL city so my salary doesn’t carry me as far as it would elsewhere.
