Google Can anyone @google give me a referral for the APMM position in Singapore? Because there I would have a higher chance of getting selected with a referral I wanted to ask if anyone could help me out with that.
I know this is a lot coming from a stranger, I can show you my career portfolio deck and the resume if you only feel that I am a good fit you can refer me. If you think I am not fit, no hard feelings just feedback would do.

Normally if a referral gets rejected without a phone interview, either the resume doesn’t have the required skills and experience on the JD, or it didn’t meet some criteria the recruiter or hiring manager has, or there are too many strong candidate in the pipeline. The first one should not be too hard to tell. PM me if you want me to take a look at your resume and the JD.
Location doesn’t matter. They relocate people all the time. Especially right now with WFH until September minimum.
Honestly, so many people apply that you might just not be at the top in terms of experience that fit the current job openings. Or there may be internal transfers first. There’s a million reasons why, like with any job.
The referral is always your best bet.
Experience could be what is stopping you. You may not have the experience that google is looking for.
The only real way to figure that out is by talking to people at google (not the recruiter) in similar roles
