I used to LOVE my job, literally my dream job, until SHE happened. My current boss, where no boss had been since I joined the organization over two years ago, has been with the organization just over two months and the entire culture of the department has gone to hell in a hand basket. I am now her secretary, run, fetch this, and she is overtly critical of everything I have done, even though I was a department of one since I joined the org. I need out, like yesterday!

Partner who is notorious for asking for work he doesn’t need and never uses (but always criticizes) asked me for something about a week ago, and has not followed up on it. I’ll go first: MP told me that on initial emails, I am always to start with “Hello [name],” but after the initial email, I am not to address her by name again in the same thread. What would you do? I took sick time for half a day about a month or so ago. Couldn’t clock out appropriately because my keyboard had broken right as I was shutting everything down. Texted my boss to let him know and made arrangements the next day with a new keyboard to make sure that time was accounted for appropriately.
