I used to LOVE my job, literally my dream job, until SHE happened. My current boss, where no boss had been since I joined the organization over two years ago, has been with the organization just over two months and the entire culture of the department has gone to hell in a hand basket. I am now her secretary, run, fetch this, and she is overtly critical of everything I have done, even though I was a department of one since I joined the org. I need out, like yesterday!

I have a wee crush on one of the partners in my firm and I thought he liked me too, but neither of us did anything about it (which is entirely appropriate). That was all pre-Rona. Now I’m leaving the firm and pursuing another opportunity and staying in the same city. Since he’ll no longer be my boss, is there a way to find out if my feeling was correct? Partner who is notorious for asking for work he doesn’t need and never uses (but always criticizes) asked me for something about a week ago, and has not followed up on it.
