I have been struggling in my job search trying to get back into my desired industry, entertainment, after having to take a job in real estate during the pandemic. Similar roles just different industry. Despite applying for a variety jobs with different qualification levels, I have not even gotten an interview for any jobs I have applied for over the past six months. Some I even am a top match for based on my LinkedIn skills. I know I can prove myself in a interview. How do I get past this gate?
I have been getting great call backs from Amazon, Twitter, google and etc., I always get to the hiring manager part and no further. I got to all 5 stages for Twitter but they went with someone with more experience. Can anyone please suggest sites/blogs/methods that help you tackle interview questions? I’ve been actively looking for 5 months and now I’m getting burned out 😵💫. TÍA.

I have an interview this afternoon. Should I tell them that I have another offer of 80k? Or I shouldn’t say the salary range?
If they disagree, who should have the final say whether an idea/concept is presented to a client: the account director or the creative director? And who has actually has the final say where you work?
I am a fairly senior CD – 20yrs in – with strong design. I am a 50yo CIS white male. I am nice. My site looks great, everyone loves my work. It’s a little light on conceptual, and I have some awards, but no Lions, etc. I am not applying at the super-hot shops, but mid to lower tier. Salary range is mid to flexible. I am not in a big city.
If they look at my site I get an interview… almost always. But am not chosen for the role.
I’m looking for interview tips. What can give me an edge?
Currently interviewing at a startup and a new position opened up that I really like. Would it look bad to ask the recruiter if I can also be considered for the new role?

Headhunters using the typical phrase “if you see a job out there, before applying, send it to me. I might know people internally and might be able to help.” Obviously, this is so that they can catch that money. My question: if they DO know ppl internally, then there’s a chance of a win-win. Is it often the case? Does it affect compensation because now they have to pay intermediaries/headhunters?
I am defending an eviction for a client who has given possession of the property (as of Nov. 30). Plaintiff’s complaint has one claim – possession. They did request relief for attorney’s fees. NJT/Final Hearing commenced 10/27, was only 30 min and was therefore continued to 12/20. Plaintiff had counsel at that time but they are no longer represented. I want to file something notifying Court that Plaintiff claim is now moot, making sure that judgment is not entered that hurts (cont'd)..

I am raising money for an NGO in India. I am sure you must have already donated to some charity. Still wanted to check if anyone will be interested in making a small contribution? Even as less as $20 would do..We are fortunate and making good money. Our charity in dollar translates into big sum in India and this is the least we can do. If you can’t donate, it will be helpful if you can at least speed the word. It is a Facebook fundraiser and I can share the link if you DM..Thank you.
I’m in a fairly large practice group with a decently large pool of associates that are junior to me. I’m being asked to run several matters and to delegate as needed. Any delegation tips? (Dos/Don’ts; ideas on how to choose who to work with, how to help new matter team members get up to speed efficiently; ways to provide feedback when work isn’t up-to-snuff, etc.?) I’m easygoing enough, but I’m also struggling to find someone who consistently turns in what I’m looking for.
