I want to get a strong grasp of corporate finance and accounting. Does this mean it’s worth doing PE for 2 years, or are a few MBA classes enough to get that? Long term I am interested in tech and startups, maybe VC or growth equity. Joined McK last month and trying to figure out if it makes sense to recruit for PE.

From what I see, majority of my research, thoughts, and substance is there but it doesn’t feel good seeing all those redlines. Is it normal to see all those redlines or am I doing something wrong?

Im currently going through industry change.
Im a pastry cook with 4yrs experience and the average salary start for this position is now at $22/hr here in vegas, especially in the strip. But cooking/baking is not my passion. So im changing into veterinary medicine and im seeing that the starting rate for a vet tech is around $16-18. Why is that?? Why are people in the vet med industry being paid so low?? Something needs to change. Labor of love aint enough for the people in this job.
