I am looking for opportunities in Dubai.. I have a PhD, 2 postdoc fellowships, have experience managing projects throughout my PhD and postdoc, currently senior consultant (i focus on systematic lit reviewss). Experienced scientific writer with over 30 peer reviewed articles. IQVIA in Dubai is one place am hoping to try. If a firm has multiple openings that you’re interested in, is it a good or bad idea to apply to more than one position? I’m a third year interested in retooling from lit to general corp, but they prefer someone with 3+ years of corporate experience. They’re also looking for an M&A with 1+ years, so it may be easier to aim for that, but I’ve heard horror stories re WLB for M&A. Would still try it out tho bc I’m desperate to leave lit, but don’t want to make a faux pas. Any insights appreciated!

Hello, I am in USI GES tax at DUSI. I love my job but not my team and mgmt anymore. I'm a performer and I'm dumped with work of 2 ppl while others are searching for work. I am burned out.

I resigned and accepted a job with EY GDS with a huge pay bump that DUSI can't match but I also gave up my potential promotion for 2023.

I love my SO but get unsure....they just went on a friends trip and came back and randomly said going on another one in two weeks. I said I wanted to spend time together so they came back next morning and said let's go away just us instead, which is awesome and I am happy BUT is it a red flag? They used to always be all about spending time together and now seems like I have to remind them to put us first in the past month. We both work hard and have kids so life is more complicated. I’m getting put up for manager a year early. I have PPMD ,SM, and M support. Pretty much support from all the key individuals on my team and in my service line. Since it is a year early if i don’t get promoted this round I know it’ll come mid year but I do expect a good salary increase still without the promo.
