I suggest an HR generalist role where you gain gain exposure to all or most of the specialty areas before aligning to a specific specialty. Good luck
Thank you. I will try to look into HR Generalist role.
Depends upon your end goal. For example, if you want to be an HR manager or higher, a generalist path would work. If you are particularly interested in a specific area and making a career out of it, specialize in it. If unsure, try working at a generalist role and feel what areas you want to explore more.
Looks like generalist is the way to go before I Decide. Thank you for your advice
Generalist is the fastest way to see what area you love most. After being a Generalist, then think of specializing or be an HRBP.
I started as a recruiter as well and wanted to further my HR experience, so I went with an HR Administrator role. I agree a HR Generalist gives you experience in a bit of everything and you can decide what you enjoy from there. I am now Manager, HR Operations and I love it. Good luck!
