I’m looking to begin my career in HR, I have almost 6 years of benefit experience I gained through my career with UnitedHelathcare I recently started a new company and with my position here I am considered as Benefits Specialist in HR I don’t have a degree yet but I do want to work on that. I interviewed at KPMG on 11/14 and got a verbal offer the next day but since then waiting to hear from them. Been following up continuously but the partners are not replying it seems. In the meanwhile i have an offer from BT offering 90k for 4 yrs of experience which seems to be fair. I am just unsure whether to accept the offer as I was waiting for kpmg reply as I want B4 on my resume which apparently is a big deal. Is BT also good on resume for future employers ??

Question for folks in here who work at a company with unlimited PTO/vacation - how do you manage this from being abused by employees?

My company went toxic in the last couple months. Chose me and started interviewing. Had a very successful interview with Amazon but recruiter is working hard trying to place me and said there’s no knowing how long to find a team. Meanwhile I just received a Director offer for a company with a 29% pay bump July 1. If Amazon or any other FAANG/large co gets back to me, is there an acceptable way to not burn bridges with new job and accept or delay start date with FAANG? Or fuck it just hop?

I already have the SHRM-SCP. . would it be a value add to go for the SPHR as well?
