Although I gained good amount of experience in PM via my event management roles, I feel that adding a PM certificate to my resume will increase my chances of landing a job (PRINCE2Foundation). Currently, I am reviewing offers from different training companies. Would you go for an in-classroom course (most expensive one), e-learning with a sparring partner (mid-level price) or online course w/o a sparring partner (most affordable)?

Within my first year of Consulting, really struggling with the hours amongst other things. Spoken to a couple of people internally and the advice is to get on to projects with bigger budgets and therefore bigger teams/more support. I want to wait until I hit the one year mark before making a decision on whether Consulting is for me or not. Curious to hear from other experienced hires..how is/was your first year?

Got laid off in tech corp dev making 250-300 all in. Have an offer to join a fairly new family office investment team in PE buyouts but will be a fairly significant cash pay cut vs what I was making in tech corp dev.
