I was told they need the funds back. However, Human Resources never explained in detail how they will recoup the money. After several attempts for a further explanation, now after a whole week no one has responded to my inquiry. It was a time sensitive matter yet still no call back or response to my emails. I heard from other co workers who did not spend the initial deposit that they just withdrew it back. I had to make arrangements to put the money back in my checking account. Shameful

Hello! Looking at an opportunity with established startup in UK that's just been acquired by a large co. I'm US based and my salary is around $250k (NYC) -I've been asked my expectation without the startup giving me a range to work from (though I've asked). How would you handle not getting a lunch break when you are a salaried employee treating patients for 40 hours a week? I don’t get documentation time either, but all notes are to be completed the same day. Some of us have reached out to HR and we’re told to discuss it with the regional director, but the regional director says we’d have to come in early or leave late to block out a lunch break. My commute is an hour each way, so I’d prefer not to make my day any longer. Advice?
