I am a graduating student who just got offered 65k for a solution analyst role at Deloitte USDC (Data Engineering Focus). From reading previous posts it seems to be a lot of negative thoughts surrounding the USDC, but straight out of college is this a good opportunity?
I'm looking to gain as much experience as possible out of college in an IT role and wondering what exit opportunities may be in place a year or two down the road if there is little/slow progression.
Any Advice?
Do you have a weekend getaway?

Mask
Gloves (up for debate though)
Hand sanitizer.
Other than that you should be good, just shower immediately upon arrival at your lodging in SF.

The plane air after take-off is recycled every couple minutes. Board as late as you can, Distance in the terminal.
You can't help if they don't have a gate. Pre- take off and post landing are the times with worst air.
Take the first flight out so you know you’re the first set of passengers on the plane.
ToMo has this for sale
Add goggles too

An acquaintance recently took a flight and said it was basically full except the first 6 rows were sectioned off for crew. They weren’t enforcing masks so a lot of passengers weren’t wearing masks and were sitting inches from each other on a full plane. Not to scare you, but just an FYI because I assumed planes would be empty and was surprised to hear this.
Definitely wear a mask. If you have it, bring disinfecting wipes and wipe down your entire seat area and everything you might touch. Hand sanitizer all the time. Good luck!

Don’t touch anything and if you do then wash hands.
Otherwise take a private flight.
You mean a charter plane ?

We never did stop flying petri dishes everywhere did we? So dumb.
So I am hearing - take the first flight out, wear pep, limit contact, wipe stuff, wash and sanitizer hands. Would buying a first class seat be helpful? Anything else
I just spoke to JetBlue today since I’ll be flying in a couple weeks and they confirmed their social distancing people on the flight and moving people around 24 hours before the flight even if you pre-selected your seats prior. So some airlines are trying to social distance but can’t say I’m surprised by United their trash.
