I work for a small personal injury firm and received my 1 year review today. My attorney and HR are trying to pressure me to do lead paralegal work without the title or salary increase. It was brought up again today during my review and I told them that I didnt feel comfortable doing the work without the salary or title but now I kind of feel like I may have shot myself in the foot. Did I do the right thing? I would accept the promotion if offered to me.

My joining in both are in around May last week. Tomorrow my IBM pre onboarding HR will connect with me. Should I ask for a counter offer tomorrow itself?
Or should I ask 2 weeks before joining?
Many told me that companies revise CTC when the joining date is near, else they show less interest. So should I go for it now itself?

Looking for advice! I was approved to work remotely but my salary will decrease 10%. I received two raises so the decrease brings me down to my previous salary. I was told that it’s due to the cost of labor in the area.

I did it! I got an in-house Paralegal position after years of working and being burned out at different law firms. I was going to leave the legal field all together because I was so burned out and depressed, but I decided to give the field one more chance if I was able to go in-house. With that being said I told her that I would complete my certificate by the summer around the time she would make partner. How do you know when it is time to move on. I am the only litigation paralegal billing over 2,500 a year consistently. Love the boss I work the most for but that person has grown distant. Staff reviews were supposed to be complete this week and no one has mentioned mine. Underpaid by about $30k per market value. Torn and confused.
