If I accepted an offer in May with a base salary of 140k, and after receiving the EY comp notices the % increase is no longer as attractive (with my new EY salary of 122k it’s only 14%). Can I ask my new employer to increase or is it too late ? My new start job got delayed because of immigration issues btw.

Why is education deemed more valuable on a pay scale than experience? Employers will pay someone with a degree and no experience a greater salary, than someone who has exhibited the experience. Millennials like us always assume we’re about to get fired - I actually have been laid off in a meeting with that title. But at my new job, my boss asked for a “quick chat” to literally ask me to change the title of a meeting and then chat about christmas. Now that I’m in management, I want to understand it better.
