If I’ve been through four busy seasons, is it worth applying to manager jobs in industry that call for six years experience? Or am I mostly stuck with “senior” level industry roles?

Just apply. If they don’t call you back then No big deal

Depends whether six years experience is required or preferred. If it’s the former, don’t bother applying.

The worst they can say is no

I’d apply. If you’re resume is strong enough they will still contact you, and then you can present your case then.

Imagine applying for a job and actually meeting all the requirements they ask for

^^^that happens too... but I feel less inclined to pose that question haha

Just apply

For staff/seniors in public accounting. Would you rather be paid 1 1/2 for your tax season overtime hours or would you prefer to wait for a big fat bonus check at the end of the company year? I heard KMPG paid overtime at 1.5 back in the day when the others didn't. I am sure they have now cut that out though.
