We don't have SC at Accenture...
Dudes getting fired from acn because he works at pwc
False alarm! He just wanted help on a proposal. 🙌
Don't have partners either
Read the fine print at Live Well. It's 2 weeks pay minimum. Extra week for each year of service up to 20 weeks.
Been showing up to the wrong office for a year. That would hurt util... I mean... chargeability
Are you new to FB? I used SC1 because I was responding to a question by strategy consultant 1 (SC1 for short). Further, the question asked my group not level. Pay attention.
Best of luck in tomorrow's meeting. From what I seen here during the Deloitte and PWC layoffs is that the fishbowl fam sticks together when times are rough - I'm sure a few folks on here would be happy to refer you to their respective forks if you're willing to stay in consulting.
But OP, you're aware you're not an SC right? Do you tell people that?
A1, my utilization over the last year hasn't been great.
Let us know how the convo turns out.
May take you at PwC

But since almost every other consulting firm uses partner for its leadership (since they are true partnerships whereas ACN is a public company) I still use that term in situations where I'm explaining to people in consulting but outside ACN.

The question about severance is mostly generic and consulting firm agnostic. The question about unemployment insurance is totally totally consulting firm agnostic. So no. The answer to your rhetorical fail question is no.
Was it for cause (performance, etc)?
I got an ominous email from a partner I don't know asking for a vaguely defined meeting tomorrow. I'm on the bench now and don't have experience being fired/unemployed.
Definitely negotiate severance and end date so you look like you are employed.
You should be able to get unemployment as log as you aren't fired for cause
What group OP? And yes usually a few weeks of full benefits and then unemployment
