If you were not a nurse/ healthcare field what would you be ?!

Hi everyone just left my permanent role to go the contractor route. Currently employed through a staffing company so I am a W-2 but plan on going the independent route. They offer insurance and 401k. I understand I’ll need to start an LLC. Any advice or things you wish you’d have known when you first started? Would you advise I stay with the staffing? They take. 16% cut but the projects are lucrative

Will an MBA set me apart? I have a BS in Marketing from top 15 undergraduate business program with a 3.8 gpa, 2 years work experience (3 by the time I’d enroll), and scored in the 63rd percentile on the gmat. This qualifies me for an average business school (ranked below ~50). My goal is to move into a management position within the next 5 years and eventually move into a director or c-suite role. At your companies, do most upper-level marketing employees have an MBA? Is it from a top school?

For those that have been in awhile and looking closely at retirement. Are you switching careers or if you did how did it go? What advice would you give someone four years out from retirement?

So, a recruiter gave me feedback that my lack SPHR or SHRM-SCP is causing my resume to be knock out by AI and human recruiters despite my position and work history in Multinationals and being in Technology. They suggested that we put SPHR ( Lapsed). I let it lapse in 2017. What is your opinion? Plus if I were to take another certification - should I take SPHR or SHRM-SCP?

I’ve been a licensed general lines (2-20) insurance agent for year and a half and have sold around 2M in premium, of which most of it is personal lines (homeowners, DP), and some commercial lines business. I am trying to see what is the average salary for a business analyst with a year experience in a medical device company. I am in the bay area.

I was recently (in April) fired from a good nursing position that I was at for 5 years. I reached out to my old ADON to get some information on where we had our vaccinations from and she told me that I should come back and the administrator that I had issues with is gone. I am currently a medical biller and coder that just graduated. I am currently in an entry level position because I am still studying to get certified. I will have a year's work of exp in July and will sign a contract for another year because my boss is training me in more I don't know.
