Hey guys. I have been applying to Amex for the past 1 year. Tried applying on the portal, through referrals and even hr consultants reached me regarding the roles since I have a relevant profile. But not once have I been shortlisted or called for an interview. What could be the problem?
PS: I have gotten calls from every other company for the same profile but not amex. Can't be a problem with the profile. Seems something dicey which I'm not aware of.American Express
Got messaged by a C3 . ai recruiter. Read that wlb is bad and that the interview process is absurdly long, but the Glassdoor reviews are 4.2 and can't find actual hours worked posted by anyone. How's the culture really? I'd be aiming for DS consulting, something more functional but with DS/ML concepts as my differentiator.

So I've had 2 hiring managers and several recruiters from Amazon reach out to me about applying for some open positions with the company (android). I completed the coding assessment and now they want me to go through a round of 5 hour interviews next week. Is there a good chance I'll be hired if engineering managers are reaching out to me? I'm really not sure how badly I want to work for them and I don't want to be laid off months after being hired on. Anyone know what Amazon hiring is like?

Twitter has lost $11 billion in value, Tesla (or Tesler as Trump calls it) is recalling its vehicles because they fall apart, SpaceX rockets have a tendency to blow up on the launching pad, and the head of these companies is in charge of making the federal government more efficient. Instead of "running government like a business," I'd just like to see Congress "run government like a government."
You sound like you get all your talking points from CNN / MSNBC. Embarrassing
Its a common control transaction, wouldn't it fall out of 805?
That 4B value is a terrible source. Musk paid a premium based on what the stock price was, but that happens almost anytime a public company is bought out.
"Earlier in the year, before Musk's involvement became public, Twitter's market cap fluctuated. In late March to early April 2022, prior to Musk disclosing his 9.1% stake on April 4, 2022, the stock price was around $39.27 per share, which, with approximately 764 million shares, would suggest a market cap of about $30 billion. However, once Musk's offer of $44 billion (at $54.20 per share) was made on April 14, 2022, and subsequently accepted by Twitter's board on April 25, 2022, the stock price rose, reflecting market expectations of the deal. By the time the acquisition closed on October 27, 2022, the $44 billion valuation included a premium Musk paid to take the company private, above its market trading value earlier that year."
